Was expecting a guru post, but this might be even better! Haven't watched this one in a while, but I definitely misread the "happy" ending there. The connection with Marla after the explosion proves that nothing changed. Will have to watch it again with this new frame in mind.
Wondering though how much of this stuff translates to actual society and how men view the world. I know that I used to have a distorted view a few years back, but it's scary to think that a lot of us feel enslaved to a system that keeps us acting "hard" all the time.

I have watched it so many times, but like so few movies - that's one of the few I keep consistently rewatching. :)
It's also, all about the concept of legend. It gets really deep, the more you watch it.
